Designing the packaging for a clinical dermatology skincare line requires a thoughtful and strategic approach that combines aesthetics, credibility, and a sense of care.

Epiphany Dermatology is committed to offering the highest standard of dermatologic care to their patients with clinics all throughout the United States.

 

When thinking through the designs for Epiphany's first line of physician-approved skin care products the goal was to convey their brand values of trust and professionalism in an elevated way. At the same time we wanted to emphasize the clinical effectiveness of the products by showcasing the key ingredients.

A minimalistic and clean layout that also feels sophisticated and elegant and that conveys a premium aesthetic that aligns with luxury brands.

Imperative to highlight key ingredients and their benefits, to ensure the clinical aspect of the products and their effectiveness.  

Epiphany's sans serif typography and the brands dark blue and orange color combo feels modern and sophisticated. Within the composition I also wanted to showcase the sun from their logo as a key component on the packaging because it's not only unique to their brand identity but it's also a recognizable element for their audience. 

The client loved the smooth orange gradient effect. And for the second round of creative labels I focused on creating different applications of the gradient and finding harmony between the rest of the components.

When using gradients in packaging design, it's crucial to strike the right balance and ensure that the design aligns with the brand's identity. Careful consideration of color choices, blending techniques, and overall composition is essential to harness the power of gradients effectively and create packaging that not only looks appealing but also resonates with your message.

The result is a crisp clean packaging design that looks high-end and serves its purpose of being informative by highlighting each products key ingredients, ensuring customers of their clinical effectiveness.
