Ojo Limón is an online boutique that offers a curated collection of special designed pieces crafted by talented designers from Latin América. A place to discover one-of-a-kind, handcrafted accessories and clothing, where each piece tells a unique story, that blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary flair and artistry.

Ojo Limón's brand identity was inspired in our Latin American culture and heritage. Inspired on the celebration of creativity and individuality and the sophistication of our lands earthy tones, intricate natural textiles and materials and stunning rich metals. 

The logo is a fusion of modern design and the timeless elegance of indigenous symbols and lines. The eye that serves as a a submark or alternative logo for the brand is a symbol of all you can discover. It's a visual testament to the enduring beauty of indigenous artistry that we've proudly inherited, now interwoven into the fabric of the brand. Welcome to a world where heritage and innovation converge in a symbol that tells a story of cultural reverence and creative evolution.

La Mar Soap house is a brand of artisanal luxurious soaps produced in Puerto Rico. Born from the creator's desire to provide natural alternatives to people with sensitive skin conditions. The soaps are hand-made using the cold-process method which preserves the nutrients of their top quality ingredients such as pure essential oils, butters and clays. 100% organic, raw, vegan and cruelty free.

I leaned into the Caribbean origin of the brand for the concept of its identity. La Mar means "sea" in Spanish and I wanted to make that the focal point for the logo. By incorporating thin soft wavy lines I aimed to illustrate the movement of water, the sea and the waves in juxtaposition to the organic shapes of the artisanal soaps. The light san serif font conveys a clean and modern look that's also timeless.

The creative direction for the soap labels was a minimalist approach of simplicity and purity with a neutral color palette that complements the natural textures and bright colors of the products and the pureness of the its ingredients.

We opted for a recycled paper stock wraparound label designed with simple thin lines details in black and white.

 

The hierarchy of the information was most critical to showcase the special values and characteristics of each product such as: the key ingredients and their skin benefits, the directions for use, health disclaimers and the brands social media information.
