On my year living abroad in Madrid I had the opportunity of a lifetime to work at the prestigious Condé Nast designing for Vogue and it's supplementary publications.

The Vogue brand is synonymous with high fashion, and being part of the design team that brought its pages to life was both inspiring and demanding.

When designing for the magazine, the goal was to create visually appealing layouts for the different sections of the publication and to design fresh-looking pages while maintaining Vogue's unique and iconic style.

Outside of fashion magazines, some of my print layout work has been featured in newspapers, product catalogs, corporate brochures, kids educational workbooks and collectible books.

At Vogue the design challenge was always to decipher the ideal hierarchy and how to include as much content as possible within the restrictions of one page. The stylish brand elements, typography and the most beautiful imagery were the solid foundation to achieving this with sophistication.

Vogue Kids was always so much fun to design for. The bright and colorful content provided the space to be playful (within the Vogue guidelines of course). This layout is a great example of harmonizing heavy copy and imagery in a cohesive way to make it easy for the reader's eye to follow along while highlighting key components and promotional content.
